A New Look, A New Post

Well everybody, its almost Christmas, but after looking at all those Christmas wallpapers here on the computer, I decided to put a bloody mess all over my blog. That's right, after shopping for an airline ticket home 7 days before the holiday (Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day, take my pick for only $449.00 for a maximum possible 3 days at home) I did think of giving up and making something a bloodsport, hence the current blog. :)

Well, Christmas is a wonderful time of year and I just wanted to quote one of my favorite scriptures on charity. This way, if you happened to forget to read today, you can do it on my blog! :) "And charity suffereth long, and is kind and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in in iquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. - Moroni 7:45.

The part that stands out to me, seems to be the part about, "rejoiceth in truth." Sometimes there are characteristics of oneself and life that are difficult to face or rejoice in! Sometimes being honest with who you really are takes a lot of courage! It is the first step to building on what is already there as well as making changes that may be needed.

Well, I do hope all of you out there are enjoying the holiday season! I keep making meager attempts to send out my Christmas cards and it just hasn't happened yet. So if it doesn't make it to you in time: Merry Christmas, with a special emphasis on the root name in the holiday.
