New Year and Change

I love to think on the concept of change. In order to progress in life, you have to change. It doesn't need to be drastic. It can be small, then work from there. I believe that if we want to reach the potential that we have inside of us to affect the world it requires us to do something we haven't done before.
One thing that I like to do is, "think outside the box." A lot of times, this can simply mean looking at an idea or person from their perspective. It sounds simple, but is hard. This means you have to stop thinking about things the way you normally do, and start thinking the way someone else does.
Actors, lawyers and even parents use this idea to be good at what they do!
One benefit to this kind of change is that you can learn to love people and ideas by getting into who they are and what they are, "all about."

What a great thought! I guess I've never really tried to think like someone else. I'll have to try that. Thanks Kirsten for encouraging me think outside the box!
